- Seems like the policy change is recent. Talked to Paul, actually I’m not really upset about anything that has happened. I think the listings should be more public, and Google street view + any online and written policy should include the changes to the towing. I feel like I was listened to, and though the towing process will stay informally run, it could be worse. Mostly I feel bad for the people who routinely frequent and work at the plaza. It seems they have had their cars towed as well. I think a written notice (beyond signs and a verbal agreement) should have been given to the people who work at the plaza, in addition to changes to online photos and websites. Otherwise, the towing company was firm and respectful, the employees were kind and courteous, and I still really like this place. My faith in the system has been somewhat restored.
7/18 edit: i’m filing a report with 311 and linking the posts I made here alongside updated information posts. Hopefully more visible signage, signs in other languages, updates to Google Maps, and the full contract can be made publicly available so customers and employees don’t have their cars towed.
The signs given by the tow company were displayed but don’t cover the full changes to the recent towing policy set up by the Murray Hill Plaza.
